Thinking about how we’ve come to associate stories of men saving women with male power fantasies and misogyny (since they paint women as helpless and needing a man), while there aren’t any stories that I can think of that feature women saving men, unless it’s to help them mature emotionally (aka the Manic Pixie Dream Girl cliché, treating women as rehabilitation centers for men) or if it’s a mother saving her sons.

I’d ask you to think harder but I know it would probably hurt or something.

when did The Bride from Kill Bill ever saved a man? Her story was about revenge and finding her child. When did Lara Croft did it? I liked Wonder Woman but her story wasn’t about saving a man. None of these are examples of what I meant.

I was saying that I couldn’t think of any story of women saving men but still, thanks a bunch for reblogging my post, now it has over 100 notes of people making fun of me. You could have sent me a private message or something instead of calling me an idiot.
