I just realized the ultimate irony of the new Grinch movie…

The Grinch steals Christmas because of the soulless materialism that the holiday has since become associated with.

And the new movie is made by fucking Illumination, a studio who’s only priority is ticket sales, merchandise, and appealing to the lowest common denominator.

Only the studio that gave us the Minions could be so fucking tone deaf…
