When we oppose capitalism, nationalism, patriarchy, homophobia, racism, etc we can still fail to oppose their logic. There are many opposition movements who incorporate the essentialisms designed to serve their oppressors.

TERFs are women who have done just this– absorbing and reproducing the idea that a woman is defined by her ability to have children.

These kinds of movements are more common than one would think and they are all vulnerable to producing a fascist current.
