So for my first assignment in my public speaking class, i talked about my transition. here’s the video for it (I actually don’t hate my voice in this? Wtf?)

and my teacher got back to me and just

his response made me get legit teary-eyed lol

“I just wanted to add as a side note: Thank you for selecting the introduction material you went with. I know you said you were considering other options of things to introduce about yourself. I’m honored to have students who are comfortable enough to portray and live as their authentic self, as that is not an easy thing for a lot of people to do. (Particularly when there’s societal stigma abound…) Anyhow, great job again! Your visual aid was very creative, well developed and integrated effectively. It really helped to have a visual timeline to orient each mental and physical stage of transition, and your well-being on that journey. Excellent job!”
